We are thrilled to announce that the Sim Racer Hub Challenge Series will be back for another season in 2023! For this season, we will be throwing it back to the 2007 NASCAR Cup Series format, with a mix of Gen 4 (ARCA) and Gen 5 (CoT) races spotted throughout the season. The 36-race slate will start with the Daytona 500 on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Daytona International Speedway. On Wednesday, Nov. 15, Homestead-Miami Speedway will once again host the season finale.
On Wednesday, Jun. 28, New Hampshire International Speedway will host the first event in the “Race to the Chase,” the 10-race prelude to the “Chase for the Challenge Cup.” On the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 6, Richmond International Raceway will be the final event in the “Race to the Chase.” The week after Richmond, on Wednesday, Sept. 13, New Hampshire again will have the kick-off event in the Chase for the Challenge Cup, which covers the season’s last 10 races and determines the series champion.
In addition to the 36-race regular schedule, the series’ two traditional “non-points” events are the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona on Feb. 8 and the NEXTEL All-Star Challenge at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on May 17.
